A Dump of Ashes
Gone are those days
When the sun rose delightfully
In the clear blue skies
When the moon stretched
His hands to the stars
Who were really nice
Forgotten are those memories
Keeping head on whose shoulder
We stayed awake whole night
Left are those people
Who really made our lives
A fine and splendid sight
Rinsed are those tears
Which we cried
Thinking of those beloved ones
Who went away somewhere
And secretly died
Doomed is that peace
Which we together strived
To achieve
Flown away that time
Which we promised
That we would never let leave
What is it that
These thirsty eyes are searching
It’s a dump of ashes
Without a flame, a fire
