Think for a While
It seems like yesterday
But it’s a fact that I
Went to there years back
When the weather was so dry
I went to my old home
That lies in the southwest
I had never been to there
Since the last seen protest
It was a communal riot
That led me fled away
Since it was too dangerous
For me if I would have stayed
I saw people fighting over there
And bloodshed on the road
A bloody genocide
Organized in name of God
I didn’t know what’s the outcome
Of this idiotic fight
But in this violent act
I thought nobody was right
Their cruel behavior caused
People leaving their own homes
And those who lived in families
Were later left all alone
The extremists killed ruthlessly
All those who defy their thoughts
Though they never gave any logic
In favour of the fight they fought
How rigid are the boundaries
Of these communities prevailing
They try to teach peace
But they themselves are failing
If we want to change this world indeed
Then we have to end this fight
Let one practice his religion
There is no question of wrong and right
But don’t try to influence
In other’s thought and style
If you think only you are right
Then you better think more for a while
