Those Memories
Behind the books, under the bed
On the window pane, over the shed
Under the pillow, still stays
My memory of old days
Days when we were seen
In the college canteen
Days when we said something
Other than what we mean
Near to the café, where we gather
In either hot summers or chilling weather
Over a cup of coffee that we sip
That gang of friends with lots of gossip
My memory lies in the theatre
Where we gather all together
Watching the movie, sharing the joy
Coming back late night
And making parents annoyed
The days when I met
My first love of teenage
While chatting on Internet
We roamed together in the city
That time was so pretty
The days when I held her hand
In together we stand
Staring each other’s eyes
As in this love
Ready to make every sacrifice
Exams when we studied hard
And prayed to God
For a nice reward
Planning everyday new thoughts
Sometimes faith on cheating notes
The days when alone
We talked on phone
From dusk till dawn
To someone I suppose
To my heart, very close
Forgetting every tension
Of the coming life
Thinking anyhow
We would survive
Living for chills, and trends
Adding spice to life with friends
Thinking no one can make us stop
One day we would reach to the top
Like the eternal shining sunrays
Are those unforgettable fine days
The days of love and fun,
Running without destination
The days of hope and sorrow
Feeling good for coming tomorrow
The days of friendship and sacrifice
The days of clear blue skies
Behind the books, under the bed
On the window pane, over the shed
Lying in my room, that cricket bat
Those days I can never forget
